GE P-875B Am portable transistor radio. Received this radio where you could not even read the station numbers on the dial. The unit reception was weak and distorted. I recapped the radio and did an alignment but the audio was still distorted. I ended up replacing one of the preamp transistors and a resistor that way off going to that transistor. I also installed a 3.5 jack on the side for an line level audio input. After a bit of cleaning, the radio is ready to go back to the customer.
